It covers ten years in the AirPnP Zoom community, five rooms, eleven Financial Reports, nine Swirly wins, one 31-hour set and a growing shelf of tools that keep live rooms running. The career started long before the Zoom grid — in TV studios, photo studios, design departments, behind the decks and in rave production offices. No revisions. No safety net.

§ 01 — Statement of identity
Who Is Karen?
Karen from Finance is not just a username. It is a department, a warning label and occasionally a DJ booth — the spreadsheet nobody asked for and the DJ set everyone stayed for.
What began as a deliberately ridiculous office identity became a fixture of AirPnP’s Zoom nightlife. The name runs on collision: cold corporate language meeting queer late-night chaos. Audits, balance sheets, compliance notices and fiscal quarters, delivered with basslines, rave lighting and VIP energy.
It stuck because there was always work behind the joke. Rooms owned and run. Sets recorded live. Promos that moved people. Tools that keep rooms safe at four in the morning. The brand has always been simple: make it funny, make it visible, make it move.

The Swirly Awards are where the AirPnP Zoom community hands out its own recognition — for the DJs, hosts, promo people, designers, fixers and personalities who keep the rooms alive.
Karen has been on the winners’ list three years running. Three wins in 2024, one in 2025 and five in 2026, from a ballot with Karen’s name in sixteen categories. Promo, design, identity, tech and partnership: every department of the brand has now been signed off by the people who were actually in the room.
